Explainers:
Season 1-3, All episodes had there own titles but where all connected to a bigger story. For example.
The Daleks is the second story of Season 1. It contains of 6 episodes all with their own names.
Season 4-26, It is the same system as before except all episodes does not have their own titles.
They are just named after the story. For example. The Tomb of the Cybermen is the first story of Season 5.
It contains of 4 episodes. That's why it has the number (4) written after it's title.
In the earlier days of Doctor Who, BBC wasn't very good at saving their episodes after they have aired resulting in many of the First and Second Doctor's adventures being lost. I have included all episodes on this list even if they are lost. If you want more detailed information on this, here is another handy list; "List of Lost Episodes"
